John Siegenthaler, P.E., will present Energy Conservation and Supply Options for Homes at Mohawk Valley Community College on Monday, April 12, from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

This workshop presents simple tools for evaluating options in areas of energy conservation and fuel choice. It begins with what is often the most cost effective option — conservation. The basics of building heat loss are discussed and quantified. From there discussion turns to tools for estimating heat cost, and making comparisons between fuel options.
