Ray Tonjes, chair of the Green Building Subcommittee for NAHB, announced the above statement with the release of McGraw-Hill Construction's green home building report. This year, the number of builders who are "moderately green" (those with 30% green projects) surpassed those with a "low share" of green (less than 15% green projects). And even greater growth is expected for 2009.
